Top 5 Self Love Acts

Hello Loves,

I was asked the other day what is it I search for when I'm searching other bloggers post. Well, that got me thinking what do I search for? And is it that attracts me to other bloggers. I would day I search for casual everyday fashion for living in Sunny Florida and being an active Mom. I am literally typing this blog up while sitting at a pool (I know it"s Feb and we're already swimming). How can I go from being at home cleaning to heading to the pool being comfortable in the heat and then packing up heading to the grocery to get tonight's dinner. And did I mention still feel like I look cute. What I'm getting at here is, as a Mom we need to be comfy in our skin and in our clothes. We need to feel confident in our skin and in our clothes. We need to feel like we can take on anything in our skin and in our clothes. So I am going to really focus on being a Mom who hasn't lost her sense of style  because trust me for a while there I did. I felt like I had to wear certain clothes or look a certain way when in reality just because I was a Mom now I didn't need to do that, I needed to keep my sense of self and keep my style. Style is such an important or what makes each and everyone of us different. Even if we wore the same thing we each can add our own little twist to it. I might wear the same graphic tee as my daughter and yet it looks completely different. So from now on I am going to be showing you all my go to outfits for being a #momonthego and taking care of the skin I am in to feel the best I've ever felt.

To be 100% honest with all of you if you don't love you first and love the skin your in, your never going to love the outfit your in. I am going to share my top 5 self love acts I do every day.
1. Before I get out of bed each morning I say 5 things I am grateful for.
2. I say my morning prayer from a course in miracles. "Where would you have me go, what would you have me do, what would you have me say, and to whom?"
3. I meditate daily (I try for 2 times a day)
4. I do some form of exercise daily (fitness, yoga, walking, pilates)
5. I take time before bed to reflect on all the good I have done that day. And remind myself of how amazing I am. Reflect on the good and let go of everything else.
By doing these daily I have seen such a difference in my life and even in my style because I am more confident and I am forever grateful for all that I have done and accomplished. When you are mentally in the right place in shows in your body as well. Of course working out and eating right are a huge factor but the one thing I know for sure from my own personal experience and from my countless clients experiences you have to have your mind right to have the results you want. And who doesn't want feel good?

There are lots of other ways to make you feel good but I have to say these 5 simple things I do daily have changed me for the good.  I hope that you all implement even one of these into your lives and see how these steps can change you as well. They are a trickle down effect once you feel good mentally you then can feel amazing in those stylish clothes you have in that closet of yours. I will be putting together a little spring break outfits but in the meantime before spring break gets here and your looking at what I put together for outfits or your out on the beach and not feeling your best add in these small steps and I bet you, you feel amazing by the time spring break gets here. You have about 3-4 weeks until the spring break season hits so lets work on that mental game until then.

The Light in Me, Honors the Light in You,
Vanessa
