Day Time Smokey Eye

    Yesterday I posted on my Instagram stories my number one day time smokey eye. I promised I would link all the products I use on here. You can use any colors your really want to do a smokey eye I'm no expert but my personal opinion is the light browns that I used yesterday look the best for a daytime look. One thing I am really big on is MAC Paint Pot Soft Ochre . I swear this is a game changer for eyeshadow and helps keep your eyeshadow on for the day. And it helps to pick up the pigment of colors when applying the product. You can apply the paint pot with your fingers but my nails are way to long and I really just like applying the paint pot with a flat brush. But you could do whatever works best for you.

   Now you could use any light browns for your daytime smokey eye but I used the Too Faced Natural Matte Palette.  Like I said in my video you can purchase this here on Amazon or at Ulta but I have to say I have had this palette for a while it really does last. It is a favorite I like to use especially for my matte looks I like to do. As for my brushes I used yesterday they are from my  boxy charm Luxie brush set. They work well but I feel like you could use morphe, mac, ulta, or sephora brushes they all work. Some of the cheap ones will work but they fall apart quick and you end up replacing them way before you have to replace any of the more reputable name brand ones.

   As for how you apply the shadows, I feel like its like painting start with a light color as your base color and build from there. I use the light colors all over and then use the darker colors towards the outside and remember with eyeshadow its way easier to add them to take away. So start light and build by adding each layer. But, watch the video on my insta stories that's highlighted on my account it's way easier to follow then me typing it all out.

Last but not least is my eyeliner I use NYX liquid liner. I swear its the easiest to use and goes on so smoothly. My mascara and lash serum are the same company and I can't recommend them enough they work amazing.  I use Grande lash serum and grande mascara here's a link for Amazon as set for both of these. Grande Glam Set. Hope this helps with anyone who wants a daytime smokey eye but not sure how to achieve it. I promise you can do this, it's not as hard as we make it seem.
