Fashion Friday

It's Fashion Friday!!!! WooHoo I get excited thinking about fashion Friday's. To some I know it's like going into a gym and looking at all the fitness equipment and not knowing where to start. My sister and I talk about this all the time. Surprisingly she has all the basics and not so basic in her closet and she has great taste in buying clothes but can't seem to figure out how to piece it all together. I feel like many women get like this as well. I was at work the other day and of course I'm freezing so I keep my layers on and I get stopped after class about where did I get my outfit? Is it still in season? I know there's times I look at other women and think to myself oh that's super cute and it sparks my creativity of how can I put that together myself and give it my flair. I love helping my sister pick out her outfits and put things together, my hope is that every week I give you all a little inspiration for your own wardrobes and realize you don't have to break the bank to feel good in your clothes.

In the next few weeks I'm going to put together a few staple pieces and show you how to put it all together. Some of the basics I'm going to start with this week is a good pair of black jeans.  I do like ripped jeans so those are my go to. Now depending on your height and size I feel like fitted or boot cut make a difference. If your more petite I don't feel like boot cut does us any justice it like cuts our legs off some how. If your taller boot cut could totally work for you. Fitted jeans are pretty much whats in right now and those are good for all shapes and sizes. The only thing about fitted it make sure they are not to long. When they are, they bunch at the bottom and it draws peopled eyes there and its not a flowing look, it looks choppy.  Now how to pair blacks jeans well to be honest I could go on for days with this one but for today I paired it with a sweater and a vest. I will post a few other options this weekend of how to pair one pair of black jeans and make it into multiple outfits. Most of these post will be on instagram.
Now with a sweater you can do a front tuck like I did in the first 2 pics or untuck. I feel like a little front tuck makes the outfit a little more dressed and the untuck is more flowy.

I do like to roll my sleeves sometimes especially to show of my bracelets. I do feel like any outfit can be accessorized to make it more dressed up or even just dressed to your style. This top is really comfy and like that it's not super heavy especially since I live in florida where our coldest days at in the 50's.
Last but not least my vest. My great $12 buy at old navy. Super comfy and warm. Again even here you don't have to break the bank to have a vest. I know they are super hot this season but you can always find a deal on them.  Even with a beige sweater because the jeans are black you can add in grey its a great contrast color to black. I am a little wild on the color side lol who am I kidding I am very monochromatic person. I love my back and whites. But I do know color that is something I know how to piece together. Things don't have to be exact sometimes it's even better when it doesn't it gives it a great contrast. Don't be afraid to try a little contrast in your life try out some colors remember pretty much anything goes with black jeans.

Love and Butterflies,
Vanessa
